A Little Bit About Me

For as long as I’ve been chronically online, I’ve been known on the internet as Trisha Sales. I started blogging back in 2004 on platforms like Blogspot and Blogdrive, before moving to a hosted, WordPress-powered site in 2005 under the subdomain miraculous.skyefairy.net (Thanks to my friend Heather Shahan for hosting me back then!).

In 2009, I bought the domain trishasales.net—a space that began as a web design portfolio and blog archive, and eventually grew into what it is today: my personal corner of the internet. I’ve kept Trisha Sales as my online identity ever since, and make + thrive mail is simply an extension of that personal brand.

FYI if your paid subscription receipt says “Patrisha L… B…” instead of Trisha Sales—surprise, it’s still me. 😄

Trisha Sales is my online name, Patrisha L. S. B. is my married/legal one. Same person, same heart—just two names for two parts of my world.

Professionally, I’m an experienced Salesforce consultant with over 14 years of experience helping clients create real business value on the Salesforce platform by designing and building complex technical solutions that support meaningful business processes.

In December 2025, I was laid off my corporate job as a Salesforce technical architect and I launched make + thrive mail as a way to process and navigate the job loss. Working on the newsletter has reignited my love and passion for writing and I hope to share more of my thoughts and experiences in this form of publication as I work toward landing my next role or job opportunity.
